Dove story :)

 ...Something Special about Doves...

Last day I read something in the Bible (it doesn't mean, I am a christian) as follows: People who want sacrified a bird for God, it has to be a baby pigeon or Dove..I did some research to find out why. You have seen the dove with the olive leaf any number of times as a symbol of peace, and generally that is the accepted symbol, but more important than the accepted symbol of peace is the symbol of purity. Why was the dove chosen? Because the dove is the symbol of purity.
Doves are one kind of Pigeon family. They are much smaller than pigeons. Doves never change their partner in their lifetime. If one of the partners dies, they never find new one. That is why you don't have to kill one Dove. Because if their partners find out, they will be sorry and alone in their lifetime. And that is why Doves are symbol of love..

The Dove represents love and in Greek mythology the goddess of love Aphrodite ( known in Roman mythology as Venus) is often depicted with doves fluttering around her or resting on her hand...

Male doves also help their female partners incubate and care for their young, which helps their image as devoted, loving birds. In fact, their reputation as symbols of love is so strong that many love potion recipes popular during medieval times required the heart of a Dove
