The Azores is a group of 9 islands off the coast of Portugal known for lush landscapes excellent food and endless outdoor activities.The Azores are very artistic people and celebrate art in many ways.

The Azores are best known for whale and dolphin watching; the archipelago is a pit stop or home for about a third of the world’s species of cetacean.

           

Yearly the city of Ponta Delgada has a street art festival ,where artists from around the world come to create street art throughout the city.The Walk and Talk urban Art Festival  transforms buildings , houses and even benches into works of art.We found some of the art from past festivals.The city became a treasure hunt for us, each road had a hidden gem waiting.
